Iris is a consultant in social protection, providing support for the digital transformation of national systems. As a freelance junior researcher for IR Share, Iris contributes to national reports and case studies.
Iris Turlan holds a Master of Public Policy from Sciences Po Paris, specialising in social policy and innovation. She previously earned a BA in Social Sciences and Philosophy from Sciences Po and Sorbonne University, and completed an Erasmus at the University of Vienna. She currently works as a consultant in social protection and provides strategic and operational support for digital transformation operations, including the redesign of a national information system for social data. Convinced of the need to combine research with the implementation of public policies for the adaptation of welfare systems to both the digital and ecological transitions, she is also a freelance junior researcher at IR Share, contributing to national reports, such Digitalisation of social protection, 2025. Her previous experience includes fostering Housing First and employment inclusion policies at the French Interministerial Delegation for Accommodation and Access Housing and conducting socio-economic analyses at the Council of Europe Development Bank with a multi-national research team.
