On 1 March, the Uni Global Union federation and the CIRSA group (13,338 employees, including 4,434 in Spain), which manages casinos, signed a global framework agreement recognising the principles of freedom of association and collective bargaining (see UNI Global Union press release). In terms of the area of dispute resolution, this is the second global agreement, after the one signed with Orpéa in 2022, to use the mediation and arbitration mechanism laid down by the International Labour Arbitration and Conciliation (ILAC) rules.
