IR Share in April 2016 organised training for the British and French members of the SE works council of the Eurotunnel group together with the Institute for Employment Studies. The training examined British and French industrial relations systems, as well as the role of the works council. The British delegates fully appreciated what the SE works council’s right to information and consultation could mean for them.

Since 2011, the European Works Councils Club has sought to co-construct the foundations of a European social dialogue that can meet the social and environmental challenges faced by transnational companies.
