Pernod Ricard: European agreement on Corporate Social Responsibility
The Pernod Ricard group (19,000 employees) and the Effat trade union federation on 7 January signed a European agreement on corporate social responsibility which is to apply to all the group's subsidiaries within the EU (more than half the global workforce).
The agreement is one of the most comprehensive signed in recent years, in terms both of the topics it covers and the detail of its commitments. The company's management states that it intends "to extend the agreement gradually to all its subsidiaries throughout the world".
