On 14 March 2022, the french government unveiled the first Plan for the Prevention of Serious and Fatal Accidents, which sets out a roadmap for reducing the number of such accidents over the next four years. It focuses in particular on the categories of people who are most at risk: young people and new recruits, temporary workers, self-employed and posted workers, and on the main risks they face: road accidents, falls from height and using certain types of machinery.
