Declaration of trade unions to establish a EWC by Prosegur
On 6 June, The following organisations, AA.DD.-CCOO, FeS-UGT, FTSP-USO, CGT, FETS-FO, STAD and Ver.di representing Prosegur workers from the following countries: Spain, France, Portugal and Germany and UNI Global Property Services and UNI Europa Property Services, reiterated their commitment to set up a European Work Council for the workers of Prosegur.
According to article 7.1 on “subsidiary requirements” the failure to convene the special negotiating body will not prevent representatives of the undersigned workers representatives to take jointly the initiative and apply the subsidiary requirements that enable the creation of a European Works Council for Prosegur as from June 20th, six months after the formal request has been sent to the respective national offices and the central management of the Group.
